This AC adapter splits in two giving you a wireless power bank to go

Baseus has introduced a new accessory, the EnerGeek GT01, designed to wirelessly charge Qi2-compatible smartphones directly from an outlet. This product serves as a hands-free wall mount and features a detachable 10,000mAh battery, which can function as a portable power bank and wireless charger. When separated from the AC plug, it leaves behind a straightforward 27W USB-C charger still connected to the outlet.

The wireless charging capability is limited to Qi2 rates, providing a charging speed of 15W, which is less than the 25W available from newer Qi2.2 chargers. For faster charging needs or for devices that do not support Qi, the EnerGeek GT01 includes a USB-C port that can output 45W when the device is in power bank mode. Both the Qi2 pad and the USB-C ports can be utilized simultaneously while the two halves of the device are connected; however, it should be noted that wireless charging will maintain a constant 15W rate, while the output from the two USB ports will share the remaining available power dynamically.

An additional feature of the EnerGeek GT01 is a small LCD display that indicates the remaining charge of the battery and provides an estimate of the time left until depletion based on current power usage.

The EnerGeek GT01 is expected to launch later this year at a price of $89.99. This price point raises questions about its value, particularly in comparison to other 10,000mAh power banks without additional features, such as similar models from Anker, which retail for around $60. The higher cost may reflect the convenience of reduced cables and adapters.
