Trump Mobile recently promoted its T1 Phone through an advertisement on X, but the marketing materials have raised questions about their authenticity. Initial promotions included images of a gold-plated iPhone, which led to confusion regarding the phone’s design. The latest advertisement features an image that appears to be a Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, altered to showcase a gold finish and the T1 logo alongside the US flag. Further inspection reveals that the image is a render of the S25 Ultra in a Spigen case, including the Spigen branding that was not removed.
The use of the S25 Ultra in promotional materials is notable because its design differs significantly from that of the T1 Phone, more so than the previously showcased iPhone. Spigen’s own social media response highlighted the absurdity of the situation, questioning the decision to use the modified image.
In their announcement, Trump Mobile stated, “The wait is almost over!” for the T1 Phone, which had originally been expected to launch in August or September. Current information does not provide a specific release date. Additionally, the company has adjusted its claims regarding the phone’s manufacturing, moving away from asserting that it would be made in the USA to stating that “American hands” are involved in its production. Lastly, the advertised screen size of the T1 Phone has decreased from 6.78 inches to a current promise of 6.25 inches.
