The Icemag 3 is a new product featuring a 39.1Wh battery (10,000mAh) with multiple functionalities. It includes a built-in 25W Qi 2.2 magnetic wireless charger, a 35W USB-C cable integrated into its fabric lanyard, optional RGB lighting, an active fan for cooling, and an additional USB-C port for passthrough charging.
This version of the Icemag introduces a fold-out stand, differing from previous models. Earlier iterations had limitations, with the first version lacking a stand and providing only 7.5W wireless charging, while the second model offered a small folding stand and 15W charging but no built-in cable. The charge port has now been relocated to the side, which allows the device to be used as a stationary wireless charger on a desk.
The fan, which operates at 10,000rpm to assist in cooling the charger, is housed beneath the aluminum bar design that serves as the stand. Previously, concerns about the noise produced by small fans were noted, raising questions about their effectiveness.
Set to launch on November 13th at a price of around $70 on its official website, the Icemag 3 will later retail for approximately $80 starting in December. The device appears to cater to users seeking convenience with integrated charging options and enhanced functionality, though the actual performance and user experience remain to be assessed.
