Belkin has introduced a new line of charging accessories at the IFA tech show in Berlin, Germany, highlighted by the UltraCharge Magnetic Charger. This device features a unique collapsible stand that allows for hands-free use while charging, as well as a magnetic grip to aid in holding the phone securely.
The UltraCharge employs the new Qi2.2 wireless standard and is capable of delivering up to 25W of power. It incorporates passive cooling technology, aimed at enhancing performance and safeguarding the battery. Available in black and white, the charger is also accompanied by an integrated 6.6 feet (2 meter) USB-C cable, which may limit user flexibility while utilizing the ring grip feature.
This ring grip may appeal to users familiar with accessories like PopSockets, adding functionality not commonly found in other major brands’ charging solutions. Belkin has indicated that the UltraCharge Magnetic Charger will be available in the U.S. in November or December, while it is set to launch in other regions as early as October. The pricing for the U.S. market has yet to be finalized, although it is expected to range between $29.99 and $39.99.
In addition to the UltraCharge, Belkin has announced other charging products, including a 75W BoostCharge Retractable Car Charger priced at $29.99, which currently lacks a U.S. release date. Two models of the BoostCharge Pro Dual USB-C GaN charger are also set to be released: a 50W version priced at $39.99 launching in September, and a 67W variant priced at $49.99, expected to arrive early next year in the U.S.
