Wacom has launched a new 14-inch creative display tablet called the Wacom One 14, aimed at students and hobbyists. This model is slightly larger than the recently introduced One 12 and One 13 touch pen display tablets, providing more room for sketching, photo editing, and 3D modeling while remaining portable enough for easy transport in a backpack.
The Wacom One 14 retails for $299.95, which is notably lower than the $400 initial price of the smaller Wacom One 12, which has since been reduced to $210. Unlike the One 12, the Wacom One 14 includes a battery-free Wacom One Standard Pen stylus and a USB-C cable. The device features a thinner profile and slimmer bezels, although its overall design mirrors that of the smaller models. It requires a connection to a laptop or computer for operation and supports Windows, Mac, and Chromebook platforms.
The new tablet is equipped with an IPS display offering a resolution of 1920 x 1080. While it does not support Wacom’s 10-finger multitouch gestures, its design reflects a focus on users seeking an entry-level artist display tablet without the advanced features and higher resolutions found in Wacom’s premium Cintiq range. The pricing is also positioned to enhance Wacom’s competitiveness against lower-priced options from other tablet manufacturers such as Huion, XP-Pen, and Gaomon.
