This dashboard offers features like game recording, chat options, and live streaming capabilities. Additionally, the controller has a USB-C port for passthrough charging, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and two customizable rear paddles.
The Pro version offers enhanced versatility compared to its predecessor, particularly as a wireless controller for the Steam Deck. It also allows users to start a game streaming session on their phone and seamlessly transition to a compatible TV to continue gameplay via the Backbone app.
Despite its multipurpose capabilities, some competing controllers may provide broader compatibility with different devices, particularly tablets. For instance, the GameSir G8 Plus, priced at $79.99, fits an iPad mini or Nintendo Switch. Similarly, the Razer Kishi V3 Pro XL, costing $199.99, can adjust to accommodate larger tablets and includes premium features such as TMR thumbsticks and a six-month subscription to Apple Arcade.
