Google announced it will direct $150 million from an earlier $1 billion pledge towards grants focusing on AI education and digital well-being. In a separate initiative, Microsoft is providing students with access to its Copilot tool through a free year of Microsoft 365 Personal, contingent on verification with a school email account. Furthermore, Microsoft is offering free LinkedIn Learning courses on AI to both students and educators.
Amazon plans to train 4 million individuals in AI skills and support AI curriculum development for 10,000 educators in the United States by the year 2028. Additionally, the company will provide $30 million in AWS credits to organizations that utilize cloud and AI technology for educational purposes.
