Samsung’s Galaxy S26 Edge might look like an iPhone 17 Pro

Recent reports suggest that a leaked render of Samsung’s Galaxy S26 Edge has emerged, potentially indicating a design similar to the anticipated iPhone 17 Pro. The render, provided by the reliable leaker OnLeaks and shared with Android Headlines, showcases a device characterized by slim bezels and a noticeable rear camera bar with two lenses.

The design of the Galaxy S26 Edge may represent a significant departure from the Galaxy S25 Edge, which includes three vertically-aligned rear cameras positioned on the left side. In contrast, the S26 Edge’s render appears to align more closely with various leaks and dummy models of the iPhone 17 Pro, though it is noted that the iPhone is expected to feature three rear cameras, unlike the rumored two-cameras setup of the S26 Edge.

Additionally, the Galaxy S26 Edge is speculated to replace the S26 Plus and may incorporate built-in magnets for Qi2 charging, aligning it with features found in newer iPhones and the Pixel 10 lineup. Reports indicate that the S26 Edge could be thinner than its predecessor, measuring approximately 5.5mm thick (or 10.8mm with the camera bump), a reduction from the 5.8mm thickness of the S25 Edge.

The official unveiling of the Galaxy S26 Edge is expected in January, at which point it will be confirmed whether Samsung adopts the boxy camera design depicted in the renders. In the near term, the launch of the iPhone 17 may precede this announcement, providing further context for consumers and industry observers.
