Nintendo has announced upcoming discounts on various games and accessories, a rare promotional event for the company. Retailers will offer up to $30 off select Nintendo Switch games, along with temporary price reductions on amiibo figures and a discount on microSD Express cards tailored for the Switch 2 model.
The discounts will commence at different times, with the Cyber Deals sale set to begin on November 20th and continue through December 3rd at 11:59 PM PT for digital purchases on the Switch and Switch 2.
While there will be no promotions on titles exclusive to the Switch 2, some games, including Echoes of Wisdom, Super Mario Odyssey, and Splatoon 3, will feature free downloadable updates for those who purchase them. These updates are designed to enhance gameplay by providing smoother performance and higher resolutions on the new device.
Additionally, collectors of amiibo can expect discounts on certain models, including characters from The Legend of Zelda, such as Tulin, Yunobo, and Ruji, as well as Street Fighter 6 figures featuring Jamie, Kimberly, and Luke. Starting November 30th, Nintendo stores located in New York and San Francisco, along with select retail locations, will offer $20 off Samsung microSD Express cards, allowing consumers to potentially purchase a 256GB card for $39.99 instead of the regular price of $59.99.
