Motorola is preparing to launch the X70 Air in China, with expectations for a European release as the Edge 70. This upcoming smartphone is characterized by its slim design, measuring under 6mm in thickness. This places it in the same category as the iPhone Air, which is 5.6mm thick, and the Galaxy S25 Edge at 5.8mm. Weighing only 159 grams, the X70 Air features a notable 4,800mAh battery, which is significantly larger than those found in its competitors, potentially enhancing its market appeal.
In terms of size, the phone is equipped with a 6.7-inch display. Although it is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, which may not match the performance of flagship models, it is expected to be priced lower than both the Samsung and Apple alternatives.
The X70 Air is scheduled to go on sale in China on October 31st. Additionally, Motorola is hinting at the launch of a corresponding Edge phone in Europe on November 5th, likely aligning with the X70 Air release in China.
