Logitech made an Apple Pencil-like stylus for the Vision Pro

Logitech is set to launch a digital stylus named the Logitech Muse, designed for use with the Apple Vision Pro. This device aims to enhance user interactions by enabling writing, drawing, and manipulation of 3D designs in a more intuitive way. The Muse functions similarly to a traditional pen or paintbrush within mixed reality applications, allowing for a more natural experience compared to manual input methods.

Initially announced in June, the Logitech Muse can now be preordered for $129.95, with shipments expected to begin on October 22nd. Key features of the stylus include real-time haptic feedback, a pressure-sensitive tip suited for various surfaces, and a force-sensing button that adjusts line thickness for drawing in mid-air.

The pricing of the Muse aligns with that of Logitech’s MX Ink stylus, which was released for Meta Quest headsets last year. While the two styluses are visually similar, they differ in functionality. The MX Ink is rechargeable via USB-C or an included Inkwell Charging Dock, while the Muse relies solely on USB-C charging without a docking option. This absence of a charging dock raises questions about the Muse’s potential for loss, a concern noted by Apple Pencil users.
