Lenovo is set to showcase its latest products at the IFA tech tradeshow in Europe next week, with leaked information hinting at some of the announcements. Notably, reputable leaker Evan Blass revealed an image of a concept laptop featuring a display that rotates between landscape and portrait orientations, referred to as “Project Pivo.”
Historically, Lenovo has introduced various innovative laptop concepts such as the ThinkBook Transparent Display Laptop and a rollable display prototype for the ThinkBook Plus Gen 6. However, it’s important to note that while these projects are intriguing, they are not necessarily guaranteed to reach the consumer market. The portrait mode on Project Pivo could potentially offer utility for tasks like coding and viewing mobile versions of websites and applications. Whether this concept will be developed into a marketable product remains to be seen.
Additionally, Blass noted that Lenovo is expected to present the Legion Go 2, a second-generation gaming handheld announced during CES, which is slated for launch later this year, along with a variety of tablets and Motorola phones. More detailed information about these products is anticipated to emerge during the IFA event next week, contingent on their presence at the show.
