Apple recently revealed the iPhone 17 during its “Awe dropping” event. Preorders for the device will commence on Friday, September 12. The new model features a larger screen and additional color options. Among the technical upgrades is a 120Hz refresh rate for the display, which may not be immediately noticeable without direct comparison.
Both the iPhone 17 and its predecessors will run on iOS 26, which introduces Apple’s new Liquid Glass design language that was first previewed during the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) in June. The iPhone 17 will come with iOS 26 pre-installed, while users with iPhone 11 and newer models will be able to download the update starting September 15.
