Residents of a Chicago apartment building reported seeing armed agents in the hallways and a helicopter landing on the roof during a recent raid targeting suspected illegal immigrants. One US-born resident recounted being zip-tied by law enforcement officers before being released.
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has confirmed that 37 individuals were arrested during the operation, describing them as “illegal aliens.” Among those detained were suspected gang members.
