A woman in Puranpur, Pilibhit, Uttar Pradesh, allegedly assaulted her husband after he failed to bring samosas she requested. The incident occurred on August 30, when Sangeeta expressed her craving for the snack. Her husband, Shivam, returned home without the samosas, prompting an argument between the couple. The situation escalated when Sangeeta called her parents, Usha and Ramladate, to intervene.
During this confrontation, Sangeeta and her parents reportedly verbally and physically abused Shivam and his father, Vijay Kumar, who resides in Anandpur village in Bhagwantapur, Pilibhit district. The following day, Vijay Kumar sought resolution through a Panchayat meeting, attended by former village head Awadhesh Sharma. Despite initial attempts to settle the dispute, the matter remained unresolved, leading Vijay to file a police complaint.
In the complaint, Vijay mentioned that Shivam had married Sangeeta on May 22. The investigation is currently ongoing, with those involved having received medical attention.
