Jason Taylor, a Hall of Famer with the Miami Dolphins, became the focus of a viral social media moment this week during an NFL broadcast. Taylor, 49, was seen in a suite when a woman, later identified as his wife Monica, appeared to be on his lap before standing up and stepping out of the frame. The clip, which circulated on the platform X and was captioned in reference to a previous viral incident known as a “Coldplay moment,” quickly gained attention, receiving over 959,000 views.

The term “Coldplayed” originated from a July incident involving two company executives who were caught in a compromising situation on a big screen at a Coldplay concert. This term now refers to being caught in a similar context. In Taylor’s case, a community note later clarified the situation, explaining that the woman was his wife adjusting her seat, not involved in any compromising behavior. ESPN’s announcer chose not to address the clip, merely acknowledging Taylor’s presence in the box.

At the NFL event, Taylor was also supporting his son, Mason Taylor, who recently joined the New York Jets. Jason Taylor and Monica married in 2020 and have one child together, while he has two additional children from a previous marriage.
