Couple Marries Inside Hospital Room as Video of Ceremony Goes Viral

A couple recently conducted their wedding ceremony in a hospital room in Kochi after an unexpected accident altered their original plans. The bride-to-be, Avani Jagadeesh, had been admitted for treatment following a serious car crash that occurred just hours before their planned wedding in Alappuzha.

The accident took place in the early hours before the ceremony when Avani, along with her cousin and aunt, lost control of their vehicle and collided with a tree. Local residents provided assistance, and they were transported to Kottayam Medical College. Due to the nature of Avani’s injuries, she was later transferred to VPS Lakeshore Hospital in Ernakulam for specialized care.

Despite the circumstances, VM Sharon, the groom, and their families decided to proceed with the wedding at the hospital during the auspicious time, or muhurat, which was set between 12:15 pm and 12:30 pm. With the consent of hospital staff, the ceremony was held beside Avani’s hospital bed, enabling the couple to fulfill their commitment while ensuring Avani’s comfort.

The couple has been in a long-term relationship, and both families had made arrangements for the wedding. The incident has garnered significant attention on social media, with users expressing admiration for the couple’s dedication to each other.
