The CMF Headphone Pro are now available in the EU and UK, with a release for US customers scheduled for October 7, 2025. Priced at $99, they are more affordable than Nothing’s Headphone 1, which retails for $299, and offer a range of customization options. The Headphone Pro are offered in subtle shades of dark gray, light green, and light gray, with additional $25 ear cushions available in bright orange or light green for added color contrast.
Unlike the first model from Nothing, the Headphone Pro feature tactile buttons instead of touch-sensitive controls. Users will find a round power/Bluetooth button and a customizable action button on one side, along with a multi-function roller that adjusts volume, controls playback, and manages ambient sound levels. A distinctive feature is the Energy Slider, which allows users to quickly modify treble and bass settings without accessing the Nothing X app.
The Headphone Pro incorporates adaptive active noise cancellation (ANC), which adjusts the intensity of sound dampening based on surrounding noise levels. However, using ANC significantly impacts battery life. CMF states that the headphones offer up to 100 hours of playback on a full charge of their 720mAh battery, though this drops to 50 hours when ANC is activated.
This performance exceeds that of the Headphone 1 by 15 hours with ANC and outperforms competitors such as Sony’s WH-1000XM6, which provides a maximum of 40 hours of playback time with ANC. In cases where the battery is low, a quick five-minute charge can provide up to four hours of listening time. Additionally, the Headphone Pro can be recharged directly via USB-C from many smartphones.
