Marcus Lewis-Roper, who opened the barbershop seven weeks ago, has scheduled extended hours on December 22, operating from 09:00 to 21:00 GMT for this service.
Lewis-Roper noted that many individuals, particularly those with children or those living alone, may find the holiday season challenging financially. He stated that offering haircuts could positively impact their self-esteem and well-being. Customers have the option to pay any amount for their haircut, ranging from a nominal fee to the full market price.
Additionally, some of Lewis-Roper’s long-time clients expressed a desire to fund haircuts for others on this day. He commented on the sense of community support this initiative has fostered.
Haircuts will be organized through a booking system, allowing customers to reserve 30-minute slots to ensure privacy and a personalized experience. Lewis-Roper emphasized the importance of this dedicated time, stating that it will be exclusively for each customer. He is hopeful that participants will leave feeling uplifted and satisfied after their visit.
