Belkin is recalling its iPhone tracking stand and two power banks

Belkin has announced a recall for its Auto-Tracking Stand Pro for iPhones and two versions of its 20,000mAh BoostCharge USB-C PD Power Bank due to a manufacturing defect that may lead to overheating of the lithium-ion cell components. This defect poses a potential fire and burn risk. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) reports one fire incident in the United States and 15 additional reports from other countries, which include two minor burn injuries and property damage estimated at $37,765.

Approximately 83,500 units of the affected stands and power banks were sold in the U.S. from August 2020 to August 2025. These products were available through Belkin’s online store and various retailers, including Best Buy, Target, Walmart, and Amazon. An extra 2,385 units were sold in Canada. Users can identify the recalled devices by the model numbers located on the bottom or sides: the Auto-Tracking Stand Pro is designated as MMA008, while the power banks are identified as BPB002 or PB0003.

Customers are advised to cease using the recalled items immediately and to contact Belkin for a complete refund or store credit, which includes a 20% bonus for the full purchase amount. Belkin has provided a recall claim form on its website, requiring a valid receipt and the device’s serial number to facilitate the refund process. After filing a claim, the recalled products should be disposed of correctly at a facility capable of handling defective lithium-ion batteries, rather than in general waste or recycling bins.
