The clip shows a fan aggressively grabbing Grande, after which Erivo quickly intervened, pushing the fan away and protecting Grande by placing her arms around her. Another co-star, Michelle Yeoh, provided comfort to Grande following the incident, who appeared visibly shaken.

Wicked, directed by Jon M. Chu, is based on a stage musical and is adapted from Gregory Maguire’s novel, which reimagines the story of L. Frank Baum’s The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.
