No evidence was found that Pt Nehru made such statements, and the investigation revealed that the audio was likely generated by AI. Tools from the Deepfake Analysis Unit confirmed this finding, and an AI detection technology, Aurigin.ai, also indicated a high probability that the content was artificially created.
The Instagram handle ‘Baba Shaikh’ uploaded the clip on October 12, 2025. Despite the viral nature of the claim, searches conducted using Google Lens and other methods did not yield any prior instances of the statement or video online. The account, established in January 2021, has garnered significant followers, further amplifying the spread of misinformation.
