Selena Gomez, an American pop star and actress, has married music producer Benny Blanco in a ceremony held in California. Gomez shared images on Instagram featuring her in a white halter-neck wedding gown and Blanco in a dark tuxedo, captioned with “9.27.26” surrounded by heart emojis.
The couple exchanged vows in Santa Barbara on a recent Saturday, with roughly 170 guests in attendance. Notable attendees included singer-songwriter Taylor Swift, actor Paul Rudd, and Gomez’s co-stars from “Only Murders in the Building,” Steve Martin and Martin Short. Blanco referred to Gomez as “my wife in real life” in the comments of her social media post.
Gomez, aged 33, and Blanco, aged 37, became engaged in December 2024 after dating for a year, having collaborated on various music projects prior to their relationship. In March, they released the album “I Said I Love You First,” which reflects their love story.
Over the years, they have released several songs together, including “Same Old Love” and “Kill Em with Kindness” in 2015, as well as the 2019 track “I Can’t Get Enough,” featuring Tainy and J Balvin. Gomez began her career with the Disney Channel series “Wizards of Waverly Place” and has since achieved five UK top 10 singles and two UK top 10 albums. More recently, she starred in the film “Emilia Perez” as Jessica Del Monte.
Benny Blanco released his sole solo studio album, “Friends Keep Secrets,” in 2018 and has a history of producing records for prominent artists, including Katy Perry, Britney Spears, and Kesha.
