The Pro Ultra model is equipped with an 18-inch display boasting a resolution of 1920 x 1200, paired with a substantial 192Wh battery.
The specifications for the Pro Ultra include an AMD Ryzen 5 processor, 16GB of DDR4 RAM, and a 512GB NVMe SSD. Connectivity options comprise USB-C, USB 3.0, HDMI, an SD card reader, and a headphone jack. The laptop is listed at a starting price of €449 ($523), which likely applies to one of the smaller models. Notably, the Energizer EnergyBook Pro Ultra’s 192Wh battery claims to provide up to 28 hours of usage for intensive office tasks and seven days of standby time. However, concerns may arise due to regulations regarding transporting large lithium batteries. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) restricts lithium batteries over 160Wh from being taken on airplanes, and batteries exceeding 100Wh require approval from air carriers. Most laptops typically have batteries capped at 100Wh for this reason. In Canada, the Canadian Air Transport Security Authority allows exceptions for certain large batteries used for wheelchairs and mobility aids, provided they are stored outside the device. This raises a question about the practical use of the Energizer laptops for travel, given these restrictions.
