Developer Pocketpair has announced a farming spinoff titled Palworld: Palfarm, which is set to release next year, following the upcoming full version of Palworld. This new game will resemble farming simulator titles such as Stardew Valley, incorporating unique gameplay elements related to “Pals,” the creatures featured in the Palworld universe.
According to a press release, each Pal will assist players with various farming tasks, harnessing their distinctive abilities for activities such as sowing seeds, watering crops, and harvesting. In addition to farm management, players can build relationships with island residents and Pals by engaging in daily conversations and gift-giving, which may lead to the discovery of unique storylines. However, players will also need to protect their farms from certain Pals that may cause disruption.
The game will include a multiplayer feature, allowing players to collaborate with friends. As the game approaches its release, it remains to be seen how these mechanics will enhance the overall experience and what additional features may be introduced.
