Amazon has scheduled its fall Prime Big Deal Days event to begin at 12:01 AM PT / 3:01 AM ET on Tuesday, October 7th, and it will conclude on Wednesday, October 8th. The event aims to provide Prime members opportunities to save before the upcoming Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales.
The upcoming sale is shorter than the more extensive four-day Prime Day held in July. However, past Prime Day events have featured notable discounts on popular items, including the iPad Air and AirPods 4, leading to expectations for significant deals during this fall event. Historically, discounts on well-known brands like Samsung, Apple, and Beats, along with competitive pricing on Amazon’s own devices, have been common.
Prime Day offers are exclusive to Amazon Prime subscribers, which is available at a rate of $14.99 per month or $139 annually. Additionally, individuals aged 18 to 24 can access a six-month free trial, which subsequently renews at $7.49 per month. The Prime Big Deal Days will be available in various countries, including the United States, the UK, Australia, and for the first time in Colombia, Ireland, and Mexico.
Prior to the Big Deal Days, Amazon is also hosting a fall hardware event on September 30th. At this event, the company often introduces new products such as Echo smart speakers, Fire TV devices, and Kindles. It remains to be seen whether any of these new devices will be featured in the discounts during the annual pre-Black Friday sale.
