Apple has introduced the iPhone 17, featuring a 6.3-inch display and a 120Hz ProMotion refresh rate. While the design largely mirrors that of the previous model, the iPhone 16, it includes some new color options.
The iPhone 17 follows the iPhone 16, which incorporated significant updates, such as the addition of the Action Button—previously exclusive to the Pro models—and a vertical dual-camera layout reminiscent of the iPhone 12. The upgrade also introduced a Camera Control button that debuted on the iPhone 16 Pro.
Apple had emphasized the AI capabilities of the iPhone 16, although not all flagship features were delivered at launch. Despite this, the iPhone 16 still outperformed the iPhone 15 in Apple’s quarter-four sales compared to the previous year.
As Apple continues to innovate, how the iPhone 17 will perform in comparison to its predecessors, particularly in terms of sales and feature adoption, remains to be seen.
