Bluetti has introduced its RVSolar System, a fully integrated power solution aimed at individuals seeking energy independence for van life, off-grid cabins, and boats. This system, announced at IFA 2025, promises a straightforward installation process, reportedly taking around 30 minutes, which is significantly quicker than traditional bespoke installations, such as those offered by Victron Energy.
The RVSolar System operates with a 48V configuration, providing a maximum AC output of 5,000W and a DC output of 1,360W. This output is suitable for various applications, including powering an air conditioner, induction cooktop, and lighting systems. The system can be paired with up to 122kWh of self-heated lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries, potentially allowing for extended off-grid usage—up to 76 days based on an average daily consumption of 1.6kWh. Unlike some competitors, Bluetti’s system is compatible with third-party batteries.
Users can recharge the batteries through multiple sources: solar panels with capacities of up to 3,600W, shore power up to 5,000W, diesel generators also up to 5,000W, and vehicle alternators with a capacity of up to 1,200W.
Central to the system is the RV5 Power Hub, which consolidates the various elements usually requiring individual installation. This hub includes a DC-to-AC inverter, an MPPT solar charger, and various chargers for battery maintenance. The kit also features a smart distribution panel housing eight AC and 20 DC circuits, along with remote control capabilities for a selection of those circuits via a wired control screen and a mobile app.
The RVSolar System is set to be available worldwide on September 30th; however, pricing details have not yet been disclosed, with speculation suggesting it may align with current Victron pricing if third-party batteries are included.
