Netflix has introduced a new feature that allows users to create and share highlight clips from their favorite shows and movies directly within the Netflix app on mobile devices. This update follows an earlier feature launched last year, which enabled users to bookmark specific moments from their viewing experiences for later access or sharing.
Starting today, users can select both a start and end point when creating clips, allowing for more precise customization of the content they save. This means that instead of simply bookmarking a scene, users can now define the exact portion they wish to highlight.
To create a clip, users can tap the “Clip” button that appears beneath the playback bar while watching a show or movie. Once the desired start and stop points are set, users can save the clip and share it via links in messaging apps such as iMessage, Instagram, and WhatsApp.
This new clipping feature is being rolled out alongside the release of Part 2 of the second season of the series Wednesday.
