Stray Dog Disturbs Maternity Hospital After Miscarriage
A video showing a stray dog interacting with a three-month-old fetus outside the Maternity and Child Health (MCH) hospital in Noida, Sector 110, has gained attention on social media. The incident reportedly occurred after a 30-year-old woman experienced a miscarriage on Saturday.
The video surfaced on Sunday, detailing how the woman was taken to the hospital by her husband after the fall. According to Phase 2 Station House Officer Vindyachal Tiwari, doctors informed the family that the woman had suffered a miscarriage and required the fetus to be aborted. Afterward, the fetus was properly packaged and given to the family. While the woman was seated outside the hospital, a stray dog took the fetus before she could react. Locals and the husband managed to retrieve it afterwards.
Disputes arose regarding what should be done with the fetus, but police officials have denied allegations that the in-laws refused to take it.
Attempts to contact Gautam Budh Nagar Chief Medical Officer Narendra Kumar for further comments were unsuccessful.
