After outpatient examinations, the children were allowed to return to school. Pharmacy staff member Mahesh Gupta noted that around 40 to 50 children were affected. The chief medical officer, Dr. Vijendra Singh, announced that a health camp has been established at the school.
In a separate incident, over 20 children in Masuri Kherwa village of the Naraini area became ill after consuming momos from a local vendor. Symptoms included vomiting, diarrhea, and fever, prompting four of the affected children to be referred from a community health center to a medical college. Following instructions from the district magistrate, a health team was dispatched to the village late Friday night to provide treatment. Community members, including Buddvilas, Ramautar, Sunil, and Chotu, reported that the children began showing symptoms a day after eating the momos on Thursday evening.
