19-Minute Viral Video Part 2 Out? Police Issue Urgent Warning

A leaked MMS video involving influencers Sofik SK and Dustu Sonali has garnered attention on social media, leading to what users refer to as a “19-minute viral video.” Following the removal of the original clip due to legal actions, cybercriminals have begun disseminating AI-generated fake versions, claiming to offer “part 2” or “part 3” of the video. In response, Haryana Police have issued a warning indicating that the circulated footage, totaling 19 minutes and 34 seconds, is not authentic and advised the public against watching, sharing, or downloading it.

Amit Yadav from the Haryana Police Cyber Cell stated that the video currently in circulation is created using artificial intelligence. He noted that these multiple versions, labeled as new “parts” of the original, are misleading and exploit public curiosity to gain traction. Cybercriminals utilize trending search terms like “19-minute video” to entice users into clicking on malicious links, which can lead to scams, phishing attempts, or malware downloads.

The police highlighted a verification tool called Sightengine, which can help users determine if a video is genuine or AI-generated. However, they stressed the importance of avoiding engagement with such content altogether. Violating legal provisions related to distributing objectionable material, whether real or AI-generated, can result in significant penalties under the IT Act and IPC.
