A young man featured in a viral video from November 26 has shared details regarding an incident in which he was physically assaulted by a woman. In an interview with Kumasi-based Ezra TV, he revealed that he had been in a relationship with the woman for four months.

The confrontation reportedly began when the woman expressed concern about her phone being broken. The man advised her to visit a friend who sells phones for a replacement. However, upon arriving at the friend’s location, the friend’s phone was off, leading her to suspect that he was lying. When she returned to his home and encountered some of his friends, they allegedly informed her that he frequently buys phones for other women, which escalated her anger and resulted in the physical altercation.

He noted that he was unable to defend himself during the incident as five of his friends were present and restrained him. Regarding the woman, he mentioned that she works as a cook for individuals involved in illegal mining in the Tepa area.
