Organisations in Dorset addressing the cost-of-living crisis have received a total of £80,000 in grants. This funding was provided by Dorset Community Foundation in collaboration with Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole (BCP) Council and has been allocated to 23 local groups.
The council indicated that the funds will support various initiatives, including the establishment of warm hubs, the provision of free meals, cookery workshops, and financial advice services. These projects aim to assist individuals and families facing economic hardship.
