The three peregrine falcon chicks featured in the 2025 livestream series “Nestflix” in Australia have successfully taken their first flights. The events unfolded over three days as the young falcons navigated the Melbourne city skyline.
During this period, two of the chicks managed to take off without issues, while the third experienced some difficulty. This particular chick initially attempted to fly but returned to the ledge after a crash landing. However, it later succeeded in its second attempt at flight.
According to BirdLife Australia, the chicks are expected to remain in proximity to the city for the next few weeks, during which they will depend on their parents for food as they prepare for independent living.
