YouTuber Jack Doherty was arrested in the Miami area for drug possession and other charges on Saturday morning, as reported by police. The incident occurred while Doherty was filming content and attempting to engage with officers, which led to blocking traffic, according to arrest documents.
Following his apprehension, police conducted a search and discovered “half of an orange oval-shaped pill with ‘3’ imprinted on it,” which is consistent with a Schedule II amphetamine. Additionally, three items described as “suspected cannabis cigarettes” were found.
Doherty, 22, is known for creating controversial videos that often include pranks, such as “I got kicked off a cruise” and “I crashed into a cop car.” His content frequently features interactions with strangers, after which he often hides behind his bodyguard.
As of now, he has amassed a following of over 15 million subscribers on YouTube, more than 10 million followers on TikTok, and over 2.8 million on Instagram. It remains unclear whether Doherty has legal representation, as a request for comment directed to a representative associated with his social media has not received a response.
