Manchester incident: Sickening footage of Halloween violence in UK city goes viral as police issue statement

On the evening of October 31, a violent altercation took place in Piccadilly Gardens, Manchester, during Halloween festivities. Video footage of the incident, which has since gone viral on social media, shows multiple individuals engaging in a physical fight. Greater Manchester Police are currently investigating the events and have confirmed they are reviewing the footage.

The altercation appeared chaotic, with several people throwing punches and kicks while surrounded by spectators, some recording the event on mobile devices. The footage begins mid-fight, showing a confrontation involving two individuals attacking another. As the fight escalates, bystanders also join in. One participant, dressed only in shorts, is seen receiving blows, and blood can be seen on a person’s face from an injury. The video concludes abruptly as some individuals attempt to flee the scene.

In a separate Halloween-related incident, police in Birmingham reported disturbances where fireworks were shot at officers and civilians. As a result, nine individuals were arrested amidst various incidents of disorder in the city late on the same night.
