Microsoft has announced that the Xbox Full Screen Experience (FSE) will soon be available on the MSI Claw, a gaming handheld. This rollout comes as part of the latest Windows 11 Insider Preview Build, specifically targeting models from the MSI Claw series. The FSE was initially launched on the Xbox Ally and Xbox Ally X earlier this month.
Reports indicate that some users have experienced issues with the FSE on the initial devices. For those interested in installing the FSE on an MSI Claw, it may be advisable to wait until these issues are addressed and until the feature is released beyond the Windows Insider program.
To activate the Xbox FSE, users can navigate to Settings, then to Gaming, and select Full Screen Experience, choosing Xbox as their home app. Once enabled, users can access the FSE via Task View and Game Bar or configure their devices to start in full screen mode automatically.
Looking ahead, Microsoft has stated that more original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) will enable their handheld devices to support the FSE in the upcoming months. It has also been confirmed that Lenovo’s Legion Go 2 will feature the FSE next year. This expansion suggests a growing integration of Xbox’s features across different gaming platforms.
