‘Vinyl to viral’: LIVE UNITED in Music V kicks off next week | News, Sports, Jobs

The United Way of North Central Pennsylvania will host “LIVE UNITED in Music V: Vinyl to Viral” on November 8 at 7:30 p.m. at the Journey Bank Community Arts Center. This concert celebrates music from vinyl classics to contemporary viral hits and is presented by UPMC.

Since its inception in 2019, the concert has raised over $200,000 to support United Way programs across Lycoming, Tioga, and Sullivan Counties. Proceeds will benefit initiatives focusing on youth opportunities, health, financial stability, and community resilience.

Event organizers aim to engage the community while showcasing local talent. Performers include Williamsport natives and various regional artists. Notably, Brennan “Beane” Hepler and singer-songwriter Dylan Rockoff are set to perform alongside local favorites such as Mallory Scoppa Gardner and Nicole Miele.

Tickets for the event are available now for purchase at the Community Arts Center’s website and include a buy one get one free offer until the event date.

  • Why it matters: The concert not only supports important community programs but also showcases local talent, reinforcing community bonds.
  • Funding from the event has a significant impact, with profits extending support for programs that address food and housing insecurity in the region.
  • The latest: Tickets are available for purchase with a promotional buy one get one free offer leading up to the event.
