A plane carrying 12 individuals has crashed in Kwale, near Kenya’s coast, according to the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA). The aircraft was en route from the coastal town of Diani to the Kichwa Tembo resort in a game park when it went down at approximately 05:30 local time (02:30 GMT).
Reports indicate that some passengers on board were tourists, as noted by a local news outlet citing police sources. Photographs shared by Kenyan media show the plane engulfed in flames with debris scattered around the crash site.
