The Gurgaon Police apprehended two men on Friday after a video surfaced on social media showing them driving a Mahindra Thar recklessly. The incident occurred on Railway Road, with one of the individuals allegedly urinating from the vehicle.
The suspects have been identified as Mohit (23) from Dadanpur village and Anuj (25) from Silana village, both in Jhajjar. They were arrested on October 24, and the Mahindra Thar involved in the incident was taken into custody, according to police reports.
The police spokesperson stated, “The video depicted the Mahindra Thar being driven in a dangerous manner, posing a threat to the lives of the passengers and other road users, while one person was seen urinating from the vehicle’s window.” Following the video’s dissemination, a case was registered at the New Colony Police Station, citing charges for rash driving and public nuisance.
During investigations, it was revealed that Mohit owned the vehicle. Anuj was reportedly driving at the time of the incident. The investigation also uncovered that Mohit has a history of serious offenses, including being named in a murder case and multiple charges of affray and violations under the Arms Act.
