Lady Gaga’s Viral Fan Looks Back at Dancing Onstage to ‘Scheiße’

On January 31, 2013, during her Born This Way Ball tour at the Toyota Center in Houston, Lady Gaga invited a fan, known as Atticus Lite, to join her onstage. Identified in the crowd by his bright orange jacket, Lite performed choreography from her song “Scheiße,” which led to the moment going viral among her fanbase, the Little Monsters.

In a recent exclusive clip released by Spotify, Lite reflected on the experience, sharing how he broke a personal vow with friends not to watch clips from the tour. He became intrigued by the choreography after hearing reviews online. “I was teaching dance classes in Austin, and I had to see what everyone was talking about,” he said. After learning the dance from YouTube, he and his friends arrived early to secure spots in the inner pit of the venue.

When “Scheiße” played, Lite began dancing and was called to the stage by Gaga. He described making his way through the crowd to reach the stage and being overwhelmed once there but still managed to perform. Following his performance, Gaga brought him backstage, complimenting him and signing his jacket, which he still treasures. “She said, ‘Oh my god, you are so fab,’ which changed my life,” he said.
