Belkin has introduced the PowerGrip, an accessory designed to enhance the photography experience on smartphones. This product features a DSLR-style grip, which facilitates a more stable hold when taking photos, particularly in portrait mode. The grip is equipped with a shutter button located on the top edge, allowing users to capture images via a Bluetooth connection to their smartphones.
In comparison, Apple offers a similar device called the ShiftCam SnapGrip Pro, available for $90 through its online store. This accessory has a battery capacity of 5,000mAh and enables the charging of two devices at once. In contrast, Belkin’s PowerGrip boasts a larger battery capacity and can charge up to three devices simultaneously. It includes a magnetic Qi charger, a USB-C port, and a retractable 30-inch USB-C cable. Additionally, the PowerGrip features a small LCD display that indicates the remaining battery life and comes with a screw mount on the bottom for tripod attachment.
Both products aim to improve smartphone photography, but they differ in terms of charging capabilities and additional features.
